1. The Promoter
The promoter of the Naomh Conaill Centenary Development Draw (“the draw”) is C.L.C.G. Naomh Conaill (“the club”) of Davy Brennan Memorial Ground, Glenties, Co. Donegal.
2. The Draw
2.1. These terms and conditions apply to the draw to be held on Easter Sunday April 17th 2022. This date is subject to the situation with Covid-19 in Ireland at the time and this date may be changed. Any change will be notified to the participants of the draw on the club’s Facebook and Twitter pages (“the club’s social media channels”).
2.2. The draw closes when the last ticket is sold, no more Entries after this point will be accepted. If not sold out, the draw closes Thirty (30) minutes before the draw is to take place. The exact time of the draw will be posted on the club’s social media channels in advance of the draw.
2.3. The Implementation conduction and verification of this draw will be fully supervised by an Independent Adjudicator.
3. How to Enter
3.1. The draw will run from March 2021 and will close on Easter Sunday April 17th 2022. These dates shall be referred to as the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in Dublin, Ireland.
3.2. If it is absolutely necessary to do so, the club reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates. If the club does change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date of a draw, the new details will be posted on the club’s social media channels.
3.3. All draw entries must be received by the club by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All draw entries received after the specified time are automatically disqualified and no refunds will be given.
3.4. To enter the draw:
a go to the club’s social media channels and follow the link to purchase the ticket(s);
b complete and submit the online entry form; then c purchase the required number of entries. Payment must be made in Euro (EUR); then
d when you have purchased your entries, submit your answer to the draw Question;
e there will also be the facility to purchase hardcopy tickets from members of the organising committee of the draw.
3.5. The club will not accept responsibility for draw entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal delays, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network,
server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6. By purchasing entries and submitting a draw entry, you are entering into a contract with the club and are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Choosing a Winner
All Entrants who purchase their tickets online and who correctly answer the Draw Question and whose entry is received prior to the Closing Date will be placed into a drum, along with the Entrants who purchased hard copy tickets, for the draw and the winner’s
ticket will be chosen at random (“the Winner”) at a function to be held on Easter Sunday April 17th 2021, subject to Covid-19 restrictions. The draw will also be broadcast live on the club’s social media channels.
5.1. The draw is open to all adults aged 18 years or over worldwide.
5.2. By entering the draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The club may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the draw. If you fail to provide the club with any such proof or other information
that they require within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the draw.
5.3. The club reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
5.4. No refunds of the entry fee will be given in any event, including:
a If, following your entry into the draw, you subsequently find out that you are not eligible
to enter the draw or claim the Prize;
b If, following your entry into the draw, you subsequently find out that you are not eligible
to enter the draw or claim the Prize; or
c if you are disqualified from the draw by the club for any reason.
6. The Prize
6.1. There are ten (10) prizes for the draw. There are 6 cash prizes (€20,000, €5,000, €300 & 3 x €200), 2 vouchers (€100 for Hannah McGuinness Jewellery & €100 for the Highland Hotel), 1 two-night stay B&B in the Harcourt Hotel and 1 set of 30 O’Neill Jerseys.
6.2. Prizes are subject to availability. The club reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. If any details of the Prize change, the club will endeavour to update the club’s social media channels as soon as reasonably possible.
6.3. There is no cash alternative for the prize and the prize is not negotiable. Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable or convertible to other substitutes.
6.4. All Entrant expenses to collect the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
6.5. Information about all prizes in this draw can be found on the club’s social media channels.
7.1. The decision of the club is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7.2. The club will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the draw entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the Prize within 14 of days of
the Draw Date, the club reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
8. Claiming the Prize
8.1. You must claim the Prize personally. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. Details of how the Prize will be delivered to you (or made available for collection) are published on the club’s social media channels.
8.2. If your personal details, including contact information, changes at any time you should notify the club as soon as reasonably possible. Notifications should be sent to the club via Direct Message to the club’s social media channels. Notifications must include your old
details and your new details. If your details change within 2 days of the Closing Date, the club will use your old details if it needs to try to contact you.
8.3. The club does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if you are unable to or do not take up the prize.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the club, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the club, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9.2. The Trustees and members of the executive of C.L.C.G. Naomh Conaill, including the organisers of the draw, shall not be liable for any loss suffered by any member/ members participating in the draw.
9.3. C.L.C.G. Naomh Conaill shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations caused by factors outside its control.
10. Data Protection
10.1. By entering the draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the draw entry may be held and used only by the club or its agents and suppliers to administer the draw.
10.2. The winners agree to the use of his or her name and image in any publicity material as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants shall be used solely in accordance with current Irish data Protection Legislation and in connection
with the draw and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrants’ prior consent.
11.1. The club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. If there any changes to these terms and conditions they will be posted on the club’s social media channels.
11.2. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the club may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the draw and any future draw.
11.3. The club reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the running of the draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
11.5. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions and keep them for your records.
